Why we are who we are
About us
Over 60 years ago, Grandpa Emil Mangweth built what is now the Apart Jägerheim. The question of what to call the place had an easy answer, because Emil was a passionate professional hunter until he retired, hence the name Jägerheim (“Hunter’s Home”). Out of respect, appreciation and gratitude, the name is still the same today and will remain so for a long time to come.

After his marriage to Grandma Maria, they started renting rooms and offering bed & breakfast. The following years saw some conversion works and further developments.
At the end of the 80s, the rooms were turned into apartments. This was followed by the addition of an extra floor for private use by daughter Christie and her family, as well as another apartment. In 2014, daughter Christine took over the rental business and has been ensuring that guests feel completely at home by constantly renovating and improving the apartments with love and careful attention to detail ever since.
Apart Jägerheim is still a genuine family business. Christine is actively supported by her husband Leo, her two sons Paul and Eliah, and her parents Emil and Maria.
